Been diving into Daggerheart, DCC, and Pathfinder 2e lately. It’s completely reshaping how I view GMing and the stories we can tell.

The Vestige Patron Warlock is WILD. Warlocks once again prove they’re the most customizable class. Drawing power from dying god’s vestige is fantastic storytelling.

That said, the 10th-level resistances feel too strong and should be limited to one damage type based on the vestige, not all three.

I’d love to see a Magic Stealer Rogue in campaigns with spellcasting villains. Drain Magic is a great ability that pushes lone wolf rogues into teamwork. Magical Sabotage adds Cunning Strike options. This and Spellguard Paladin would make excellent mage hunters. As a wizard, this terrifies me.

The Mystic Art Monk looks great. Throwing hands and spells is an awesome concept, but the 17th-level feature feels like an editorial mistake. Monks only get two attacks anyway, so it ends up being pointless. It would make more sense if it replaced one attack or had some Flurry of Blows synergy.

Love the new Mystic Subclasses UA!

Oath of the Spellguard Paladin is easily my favorite. Pairing it with a full spellcaster in a duo sounds amazing. I’ve been reading Dragonlance lately, so my brain immediately goes to Raistlin and Caramon Majere.

I swear the new Forgotten Realms books for D&D 5.24e were supposed to come out in November. Since when was it pushed to December? And is that Ebberon book still coming out?

Been having a read of some of the campaign frames in Daggerheart. Really liking the sound of Colossus of the Drylands, Cowboys vs Kaiju sounds so fun! Which campaign frame has set ablaze your imagination?
