Pressemitteilungen - Geschlechterforschung breiter verankern | Wissenschaftsrat nimmt Stellung zu Status und Weiterentwicklung des Forschungsfeldes Fragen des Geschlechts und der Geschlechterverhältnisse sind für viele wissenschaftliche und gesellschaftliche Bereiche relevant, beispielsweise für die medizinische Vorsorge und Therapie oder in Familie und Schule. Die Geschlechterforschung ist ein wichtiges disziplinenübergreifendes Forschungsfeld und deckt ein breites thematisches Spektrum von der Grundlagen- bis zur anwendungsorientierten Forschung ab. Der Wissenschaftsrat hat den Stand der Geschlechterforschung in Deutschland erstmals breit erfasst und Empfehlungen zu ihrer Weiterentwicklung erarbeitet.

Aus Gründen teile ich nochmal die Empfehlungen des Wissenschaftsrats zu Geschlechterforschung. Darin betont der WR die Relevanz von #GenderStudies & plädiert u.a. dafür, dass sie verlässliche institutionelle Strukturen erhalten. Wer das Gegenteil will, hat es auf Wissenschaft als Ganzes abgesehen.
