A while ago , I came across this awesome photo of @mudnblood.bsky.social on Reddit he’s wearing this spectacular blue jupon and armor. Oh man, these are lovely.

I'm just became sick of it so I had to share my thoughts.

Just because you can buy an animal doesn’t mean you should. They’re not toys, they’re living beings and they deserve to live the life they’re meant to. Being human isn’t about doing whatever you’re able to do, it’s about choosing not to when it’s the right thing.

Getting them usually involves stuff like poaching, smuggling, and illegal trade... which, yeah, is a crime. + these animals need special care. If you can’t handle that and just let'em go, they might die or worse, mess up the local ecosystem by becoming invasive.

American consumerism kinda pushes the idea that having an exotic pet is cool. Like, every time someone posts a pic of a wild animal, there’s always that one person in comments like, “I want one!” But the thing is, that animal might be exotic to u, but it actually belongs in its own natural habitat.

Another verse I wrote.

Oh Lord! Bless these hands

I don't know what to do.

For a living, I do pencil portraits from photos for US clients, but with all the tariff issues, this got complicated.

I hate to do these portraits. I draw them while watching crime documentaries, so I am not bored to death.
My income wasn't the best for a long time.
