I love how vibrant your descriptions are of the mundane, especially food and meals. To me that's what really brings your writings to life. Anyone can write "they sat down to a meal" and yep they sure did but you make it more like an account from someone really there in real life.

A still and quiet morning (so far). The sun is returning south and sunrise/sunset pictures get easier. I can hear some crows cawing, tinsel the rooster is crowing, and some muted baa’s coming from the barn. Just a bit cooler right now, but our days are still very hot.
