1-2. Got badly outdrawn by Adam. Got the W against Mike and Deen, but it was fugly. I lost a turn with HAULTING* (just HAULT#), but then got away with LUNATING* and YEAL* (just YALE#) against Deen. A jar of salsa from Adam’s pack shattered on the carpet so we stayed back to mop up the mess.

Paint day. I felt like doing something Halloweeny and monochromatic. Tried painting the more textured side of my Arches cold press paper instead. I went with a plague doctor.

Cats don’t understand punishments like that. If you treat them poorly they’ll grow up to be little shits. They might understand if you shoot them with a water pistol when they step too close to your bag.

This has a tarot card vibe.

I copied a painting. Think it turned out okay but I wish I had more patience waiting for layers to dry.

Some postcard size watercolor experiments I did recently. I think they’re just a little too small to get the precision I’d like, but as time goes on they’re growing on me.

Ha! I’m the opposite. I do mainly line work, actually did pencil art from 1995-2002, and switched to digital drawing on a Wacom Cintiq around then. but I’m doing watercolors in my time off. I miss working on paper sometimes.

Im in limbo waiting for design and layout to start up for season 2 of an adult rated 2D animated show I can’t talk about just yet. Might be April? But there’s also a chance something else starts in November.

Might be worse here. All the prices here are hacked too, and Trump’s tariffs aren’t helping. Jobs are especially hard to come by these days in the animation industry. Hoping to find something soon.
