1-2 tonight. ORIGANE TIDELINE LANTERN HAVIOUr and FErVIDLY were mine. Matt had a fairly sick opening bingo of Q(U)aTORZe. Heidi's UNGRAVED* came off. Lost to Heidi by choosing to empty the bag with IAMBI, holding a blank. Challenged off COPA*, and drew both blanks to cruise in to a win vs Shafique.

Retro-bit SNES USB controller. Works right out of the package. Very responsive. My only beef is concave X and Y buttons. Every bit as good as the iBuffalo otherwise (but without turbo mashing buttons option which I don’t need anyhow). 4.5/5

1) Hyperkin with Mayflash SNES to USB adapter to be used on a Mac. Needed to find and install a driver and then type a specific command in the command line to stop Launchpad from opening whenever I pressed select. Controller is stiff and clicky, and often a frame too late for kaizo inputs. 2.5/5 🧵..

It actually arrived just as you messaged me! Wasn’t sure if Mayflash adapter would work on a Mac but I can confirm it does after downloading drivers. I am back in business! Thanks for your offer.

RIP my iBuffalo controller. Faithfully played SMW romhacks for 3 years. I will miss it. I rotated the rubbers 2 days ago. Was dealing with Y button sticking and accidental up inputs just now, and changing the rubbers caused other new problems. I’ve nudged the rubbers a few times to no avail.

I’d be interested in seeing a video. I don’t really follow Doom at all but I saw a very detailed video 2 years ago showcasing what was the current strats from then.

Botched Endeavor speedrun: Yesterday I used R and L to make save and recall save states for practice. Today, I was having a little trouble with a dick vine so I practiced running through it a few times, and muscle memory from yesterday's practice made me tap L. Save state recalled, ruining my run.

On YouTube if you want to watch Suicidal Tendencies: “Posessed to Skate” for the nostalgia of the late 80s, you’ll first get a pop up for a suicide prevention hotline, and the video will have a three digit number you can call right below it. I’m glad it exists, but seriously I’m okay YouTube, gosh.

Endeavor - YouTube levels of the kaizo romhack Endeavor

I just finished a Super Mario World kaizo romhack by @nixkillsmyths.bsky.social , “Endeavor”. It was recommended to me by @alyssasmw.bsky.social . It was fun and pretty tough. It took me about 25h30m. Caution: I swear a lot when i play this.

Tip for protestor friends in Minnesota: Leaf blowers are awesome for blowing tear gas at ICE.

Played 6 games of rated tourney pub Scrabble. Won 2 of them. Scored a lot of points in 5 of them, but opponents outdid me. Was a little sad there were no bar staff to order a Belgian beer from in my final round, but it was fun.
