A single terminal set, a core cast of employees (gate agents, mechanics, security screeners, servers, and pilots upset about the transition to RX droids), with a cavalcade of galactic freaks passing through.

One of the many reasons Star Wars Visions is awesome is that I didn't know I needed a droid that looks like a Tucker until a droid that looks like a Tucker rolled into my life.

It's an interesting cultural moment.

I assume the pedigree of the assembled collaborators — and general disdain for Rise — outweighs any otherwise categorically objectionable aspects of the concept, in favor of a more broad appreciation of any narrative attempt to recontextualize that entry.

If I believed a two-paragraph, nothing-burger of an "idea" (written down solely to boost the value of a company before selling it) was worth more than hundreds of pages of narrative resulting from dozens of collaborators, I'm really not sure why I would ever reply to anyone's post about Star Wars.

Bob Iger, a man who had no logistical objections to a movie that doesn't explain how Jeff Bridges came back to life, can't imagine a resurrection story in a series with immaculate conception, bigfoot pilots, and old baby frog puppets.

The funniest part about this for me is that if "The Hunt for Ben Solo" was narratively being driven by Rey, and the movie had been made, it is I who would have been looking for kindling.

We need a brave leaker in this moment like the mensch who unleashed Trevorrow's draft.

That is not how I interpret the marketing copy. They only solicit a certain number of issues into the future each month. I suspect it would be a much bigger announcement if a title announced as "ongoing" was cancelled.

The current Disneyland calendar indicates that Star Tours will reopen from its extended refurbishment on Friday, September 5th.
