LITERALLY! An event doesn’t have to be TRAUMATIZING, it just needs to put strain on someone (after being traumatized to become a system) and/or the split be helpful to the sys! And that’s what “traumaendos” claim. “Oh well, some of my alter split from trauma, others for other reasons” 💀

I’m trying to remember the term, but for a while we used some endo labels bc they fit our experience. One of them was “alters are formed by a different disorder or mental thing” and we used that bc our ASD highly affects who we split. I still think it’s actually so redundant that they came up-

We always stayed far away from people who RPed canon characters and stuck to OC RPers bc we knew we’d get frustrated and uncomfortable when they inevitably “portrayed the character wrong”. Same reason we’re so freaking picky about fanfic too. Only recently really got into it.

Willos/willogenic - a subcategory of endogenic defined by someone “willing” their headmates into existence. Aka, the roleplayers aka the ones that give endos the worst rap. Aka the ones who also go by “tulpas” or “tulpagenic which is cultural appropriation to Buddhists.

I guarantee they’d make friends easier if they stuck to OCs and RP bc it’s fairly normalized and widespread in comparison to people knowing about CDDs and being in a space for traumatized people. And if they experience “plurality” then they need to accept that they have trauma even if they don’t-

It’s really frustrating to us how intertwined Endos are in the CDD community without a lot of systems not even really being aware of it.

I’m not 100% sure so take this with a grain of salt, but I think “collective” was popularized by the endo community as well… 😓 I think that’s one of the reasons we changed from “Feathers & Bones Coll” to “Corvids in a Trenchcoat Sys”

Yes unfortunately. Plural, fictive/factive, and headmate all stem from the (pro)endo and kin side of things. We’ve completely eliminated them from our vocabulary. Instead we use multiple, fictroject/factroject, and sysmates 👍
