Ruby Rose

Tucking the photo away she crossed her arms, the other woman seeming to be losing her temper. And yet her eyes never broke contact.

"Phyrra? That name is unfamiliar. But it was foolish to try and fight her, Cinder isn't easy to put down. My sparring with her has taught me that. I work with her because she took me in, when I needed someone. She told me she raised me on her own, and for that, I owe her a debt. She's my family."

"Where's Cinder when I need her...my head hurts..."

Ruby huffed burying the blade of her scythe into the ground. Reaching into her cloak, she pulled out her photo, of herself and Cinder whose cloak she wears now.

"This is the life I know, I've always known this, and yes my name is Ruby Rose-

She squints a bit, not sure what to make of the sarcastic tone.

"Who are you...? You don't look like someone I know.."

"Yes that's who I am, I am Ruby Rose, and this...photo I have no memory of."

Her grip remained solid, her scythe still leveled at the other woman.

"This photo must be a fake, or this girl is an impostor."

"How do you know my name..."

Her scythe swung around her body, the black jagged blade pointed at the woman.

"Who are you.."

Her crimson eyes narrowed, her grip on her scuther tightened.

"Sis? Cleary you mistaken me for someone else, I have no siblings.."

"Listen I don't know why you're following me, you've mistaken me for someone else...now leave me alone before you meet the business end of my scythe."

"Hmmmm. Hungry, time to destroy a plate of....something."

"No...I don't know who you're talking about."

"My loyalty? It's always been with you, my mistress. Others keep trying to tell me of a supposed life I used to have, but I don't remember any of that. All I know is serving you."

Her crimson eyes followed Salem, unwavering in her words.

"Cinder is more of a dear partner to me."

"Where'd Cinder go? She was just here with me. She must be doing something important."

"Penny...? That name... doesn't ring a bell. Hmm, perhaps I will just have to go and find out for myself."

"Ooh. I see, well I would never do such a thing. My loyalty is to my death. If the mistress requires anything from me she only needs to ask."

She just stared as if her mind was trying to catch up with Emerald, but in reality, she was lost in thought.

"I don't...huh? Cinder wouldn't fo that...I think.."

"Ah..."

Her tone was colder than usual, causing Ruby to hesitate before approaching.

"Mistress..? You seem off today? Forgive me if I'm overstepping...I'm more than happy to swing my scythe wherever you point, but..."

"I thought I saw a cat. I'd love one, but the beowolves don't like them. They're a bit jealous of the attention, I think."

"Aww that doesn't seem right...surely she favors us more than that. But I do hold more favor towards Cinder anyway.."

"....I thought I saw..."

"I'm aware that the mistress has grand plans, but I fail to see how that would cause us to perish."

"I appreciate Cinder for all she's done for me. I'd say she's like a mom or big sister to me, but Lady Salem is more like those. Cinder is more special to me."

After grumbling in protest, the girl wrapped her arms around Cinder, embracing her in a warm hug. Her pout still glued to her face.

"This is acceptable. Even ferocious and wicked girls like me can have hugs."

"Wow! It's hot. I wish I had a pool to relax in."

//I love irl busy days. No time to just unwind? Muh favorite.

"Well, you're not. It's weird hearing it from someone who isn't part of my family. And just like I told her, I'm not cute! I'm vicious! I carry a scythe, and everyone else should be trembling in fear!"

Crossing her arms, she pouted, first Cinder now this guy.

"I dunno, maybe, but the thought of being a goody two shoes doesn't sit well with me."

She shudders from the thought alone.

"Nope, I don't like it at all. And just who are you calling cute? I'm not cute! I'm vicious."

She tilts her head a bit. Beauty was a new one for her.

"Me? Aww, that's sweet. I'm not sure about beauty or being cute, though, but if this faker is just me, then I guess I can understand."
