Young people are less likely to vote than older people — often considerably so In many countries, there are large differences in voter turnout between young and older people. The chart shows the data for recent national elections in four countries.

Here we created hap3H mutants in rice and showed they have more tillers, panicles and higher ETR and PhiPSII when grown in field. We develop an AI tool to quantify chloroplasts in BS cells, and showed that loss of Oshap3H increased chloroplast occupancy in those cells.

I saw “Killers of the Flower Moon” yesterday and found it very powerful and necessary.
But interesting points raised in the article, specially from Natives’ perspective.

This was a surprise - for years we thought GLK1 must function to regulate chloroplast development in mesophyll cells of maize given its expression profile - but it doesn’t. Great work by Julia Lambret (not yet on bsky)
