11 Events, 5x1 dayers, 6x2 dayers.
22 wins v 18 losses. Most importantly
Highlight was definitely getting cleanest player at the Welsh open, but taking 2nd at Bristol teams with the Trollslayers was a close 2nd.
Most disappointing was 2-3 with nurgle.
Painted 309 models so far.

Try here, look under the leagues and see if there is anything near and try to reach out. its mad how popular the game is and how hard it is to find people who play it.

22.10.2025 20:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Winner of our first award for the weekend (we start early at the Welsh Open) is Charles Robinson!
Spreading a little positivity by complimenting the Dragon Wagon will get you in our good books (and earn you a prize, it seems) π
Enjoy the OG. The White Dwarf himself!
A real life dragon is here for day two (and Aaron...)!
10.08.2025 10:38 β π 13 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0Thanks to all the support of our wonderful players, the Welsh Open raised Β£1,400 for charity this weekend, with funds going to Children's Cancer and Leukemia.
We are so grateful to everyone for contributing their hard-earned funds for such a worthy cause!
First on the roster, the Welsh Spoon award (with an engraved hand-carved Welsh love spoon as the prize) went to Liam Winch! π₯
11.08.2025 11:48 β π 5 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0A favourite for those that have attended Blackout previously, and an award that resonates with us well in Wales, the Caledor Memorial Award (for best dragon) went to Tom Matthews with his gorgeous blood-soaked Vhordrai!
11.08.2025 11:51 β π 19 π 5 π¬ 1 π 0Cleanest Gamer(s) tied at 4/5 votes each for Glen Chalk and Dominik de Cassan! A fantastic achievement for both getting that many votes.
Glen took home the custom WarVault, provided Pro Painted Studios. We'll be passing a trophy to Dominik as he was the highest placed player.
The player-voted "Well Tidy" Award (overall best army across all measures) went to Tony Kirby with his SEAHAUNT! π»
You can tell that Tony has put so much time into these conversions and the display board - was a joy to see it on the table.
Flying in all the way from Germany to take out the event, all while being a great human being and winning Cleanest Gamer, was Dominik de Cassan with Disciples of Tzeentch!
11.08.2025 12:23 β π 15 π 4 π¬ 0 π 0In second place, with Cities of Sigmar, was Alex Bruce!
11.08.2025 12:22 β π 13 π 4 π¬ 0 π 0In third place, with Cities of Sigmar, was Peter Twigg!

That's a wrap on the Welsh Open!
Congratulations and thanks to all the players - you are truly what makes these events special. It was so good to see so many happy people in one place, and makes all of the hard work worthwhile.
Awards and winners will be posted up tomorrow.
Fantastic weekend was had at @aoswelshopen.bsky.social I'm over the moon to have taken home joint cleanest player along with the event winner. Gromm was hit and miss, slaying a mighty carnasuar. Vordrai however was a cowardly vampire, he ran away to the other end of the table from the heroic dwarf.
10.08.2025 21:45 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0After day 1 @aoswelshopen.bsky.social I'm either 1-1-1 or 2-1, who knows?? But despite what @moashraf.bsky.social may say, Gromm Slighthammer completely slayed the mighty carnasuar. Been brilliant fun, looking forward to day 2.
09.08.2025 22:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is Grimm Slighthammer, with an aether-powered combat rig and the grudgebearer trait, he has one mission this weekend at @aoswelshopen.bsky.social , To kill as much as possible in honour of the final run out for the KO faction pack. Upset him, and in the book you go, can't wait.

I use this guy from underworlds, not sure if the base size is correct any more though.
22.07.2025 07:40 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What a weekend at the justice series teams in Bristol. I went 2-3 with Troggs and the team took home 2nd place with a 4-1. Thanks to @justplayritchie.bsky.social for a great event.
