The Governor’s use of outdated, derogatory language reflects the same disregard behind cuts to A&D waivers and autism services.

Last session, I passed a bill creating ‘Home of Arbor Day’ license plates - proceeds go directly to tree planting and conservation efforts here in Nebraska 🌲

✅ Appropriate funding back to Federally Qualified Community Health Centers
✅ Place limits on copays to lessen out-of-pocket costs for Medicaid patients

This year, I’m grateful for the people who make our community so special - from teachers and parents to small business owners and health care professionals. And to my family for trusting me with the turkey!

During the holidays, we hear a lot about giving back, and yes, that's important.

But it's just as important to have programs in our communities like SNAP and local food banks.

No Nebraskan should have to choose between food and paying the bills.

Every family is unique - and every family deserves support.

On #NationalAdoptionDay, we celebrate the love and connection that grow through adoption.

Everyone should be free to build a family in the way that’s right for them - with joy, dignity, and belonging.

So thankful my days are spent fighting for Nebraskans.

A couple of weeks ago I had the honor of attending the Ben Nelson Gala to celebrate the leaders moving our state forward! Grateful for the chance to connect with other leaders, reflect on Nebraska's progress and even meet President Joe Biden.
