A drake Scaup late this afternoon on a small ice free area of Todd's Lake at Milton CP. After being well out of finding form recently it was nice to get something good on patch for a change @cambsbirdclub.bsky.social #ukbirding

This Bufflehead showed well for many of us this morning in the embankment pool on the west side of Foryd Bay. Loving the iridescence in the sunshine. Took hundreds of pictures but this one is my favourite 😍

Hemmed in by fog and traffic on the M25 en route home from Cornwall, the thought of connecting with the Yellow Warbler seemed a dim and distant prospect. However it showed beautifully this afternoon and so did the Scops Owl at Broadstairs! Nice to see @tsbirding.bsky.social!
