Of course in some situations it’s the right choice, but if you’re doing lots of spawning /despawning Child BPs frequently it can add up quickly

Gotcha. If those base classes had Actor as their parent, you could reparent them to your Interact Actor subclass. I find myself reparenting BP classes quite often when I find a better way to rebuild a system.

One downside is spawning actors always has an overhead cost and it tends to be quite high

Actor > Interact Actor Parent > Interact Actors

I’d subclass Actor as a BP, add the necessary components, then subclass any Actor you want to have the widget hint as a parent BP
