The Johnny Halifax Invocation at St Giles Church Camberwell, last night. Live liquid light show. Incredible environment for this gig including lit candles, wow!

Glasán (Glisten Trick) in town and performing for this gig with Saul Adamcewski Drone Orchestra in London. Harp, flute, brass, melodica, piano, vocals and more were in the mix, and I enjoyed the chaos of it. Full house too!

I've been thinking of that Bradford gig... that was like a rehearsal gig, for what they're doing now, very special. I'd like to see JHI again, yes, but also keen to see Drone Orchestra, there's a Glisten Trick connection there. 👀

Tomorrow's gig is this, my first since December. Outrageous! I've been time challenged, rehearsing with two bands. 🙏 Becoming one with the drone (Drone Orchestra) and Jonny Halifax Invocation in a church setting is the cure...

Swervedriver are coming to the UK. That's right. Only London announced so far.

A nice roundup of just a small amount of bands performing: as noted in the article, the size of the festival makes seeing every tipped band just an impossible proposition, much like Manchester Psych Fest. Good review of Mouth Ulcers there, fairly keen to see them...

I've not seen them, so this report is cool! Going to have another listen to back catalogue today...

Hope all is well. Interesting to read this: several years ago I had a procedure on the NHS and was brought a mug of tea after, which nearly had me in tears. It's such a kind touch. US health system definitely doesn't have this. 🙏
