Double feature of Frankenstein and Tron: Ares made for a great Sunday!

I enjoyed Frankenstein more than expected. Not generally my thing, but it was a very well done movie, and they played with parts of the story in a way I really liked.

Tron: Ares was just FUN, loved it, solid A, will watch again

Ended up doing a double feature and both were pretty great!

Legitimately the cutest theater I’ve been in since I lived in Connecticut. Which was…a very long time ago.

I was very lucky to get to see her perform with Josh Groban during his Bridges tour, and it remains a highlight of my concert-going experiences

Laundry done. Mercari packaging done. Monthly hard drive backup done.

I don’t get many photo ops these days (they are costly and I find I tend to go for selfies more if I need a pic at all, except in special circumstances) but I do love so many of the ones I have. 🥲

I mean I wouldn’t say NO, necessarily… 😂

Crap. I have pics with each of the Carver twins from 2014 and I went to scan them but I have no idea which twin is which 😂😂😅😅

i made the mistake of mentioning this to @miyamorana.bsky.social and because she is evil she immediately went and got me a solo photo op so um if i get arrested or just die of embarrassment after all this time y'all know who to blame 😂

I can't tell me if seeing them laid out like this makes me more want:
a) a solo op at RICC, or
b) to skip the con altogether so I don't chance him seeing me ever again

Today’s project is scanning in all my photo ops, because I’ve never bothered digitizing anything but my autograph collection.

First though, let’s start with the fact that I can’t believe I still have this. From my very first ever convention. 🥹

Back when, you know, Creation cons were affordable.

(And, on the other hand, who knows if I have had autograph returns go missing. I’d have no way of knowing. But my ratio of returns versus no returns has been consistent, so far.)

I haven’t had anything go missing, thankfully (that I know of…)

But all of my last four autograph returns from my fanmail project all came from the UK, with nothing but postage stamps (not tracked at all). So things ARE getting through. Just hard to speak to timing. :\

It's such a crapshoot if shipping from overseas will take three days or two months lately. I ordered a big bundle of UK postage stamps for my fanmail project a few days ago and they're already in the US and scheduled for delivery on Tuesday, where before, it used to take over a month to get them.

I haven’t done a Supernatural-specific con in almost a decade, but I’m so excited to see my favorite boys from the show in two weeks 🥹

YAY!!! So many of my friends have been like "never heard of that" and it's making me want to claw my face off LOL. I just did a full rewatch because I got the series on DVD and man, I still love it so much 😭

Got home and had to dig through my photo op binder for a thing I promised to show my coworker. I also stumbled across this, which I genuinely forgot existed.

Ugh I’m on a Static Shock fic lately and only like three people even remember this show but I can’t stop. I wrote a JATP crossover before this current thing and I can’t even post it till December because it’s a holiday fic. Please send help. 😂

It’s not like I don’t have OTHER things I could theoretically work on, but I’m having a blast with this ridiculous scene of dialogue between crossover characters 😂

NOOOOO I left the fic I was working on open on my laptop and forgot to put it on my flashdrive so I could work on it in the office between work tasks. 😭😭😭 What am I supposed to do now? WORK????
