IRC chief deeply concerned by IPAS centre arson attack The Chief Executive of the Irish Refugee Council has said he is deeply concerned by the arson attack carried out on an IPAS accommodation centre in Co Louth.

Violence and hatred against any group of humans is unacceptable. Politicians and community leaders need to exercise caution in how immigration is framed and avoid dehumanising language at all times.

Between this and the assassination of Charlie Kirk, there is clearly a section of society so militantly opposed to anything remotely conservative that they are prepared to use lethal force to stop it. (2/3)

I completely condemn the attempted anthrax attack on the Iona Institute today. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be an attempt to dissuade Maria Steen from running for President, but if it is, it could very easily backfire. (1/3)
