Making “The Winter Soldier” into “Weapon X” is much more interesting than making “Weapon X” “The Winter Soldier.” Logan and Bucky have similar brainwashing trauma shit so when you just say Ultimate Wolverine is ALSO the ultimate Winter Soldier it’s just sort of boring? A cool mask, but boring.

For the most part I’ve fucked with the Nu Ultimate verse, with Spidey, X-Men, and Ultimates being my fave titles. And I know there is calid criticism over Ultimate Wolverine JUST being another Wolverine story and I think they could have made a simple change to make things more interesting. Spoilers:
