Exactly. Reading Titus Andronicus, Macbeth, Henry VIII, Twelth Night and The Winter's Tale, they might almost have been written by different people.

Well which Shakespeare..? Because the guy had range and comparing my work to any of the comedies would be a stretch 😆

I guess the only way to protect cis women is… to make sure they get harassed as well as everyone else?? Real “only way to save the village was to destroy it” vibes. I already know two cis women who have been harassed in toilets for being tall (and way more trans women and men who get this daily).

This week, I withdrew from a speaking engagement at a public university because they sent me a list of prohibited “words & concepts.” I will not humor this censorship. It does a disservice to the stories I’m discussing & the audience, who deserve unfettered access to information & conversation.

Yes, I know gen-AI is a problem, it's a horrible problem. But do we need another SkyNet 2.35222-234522.D? Hal ver.34553? Those aren't AI. They're synthetic intelligences, and archaic ones at that.

#ScifiMonth2025 Day 20 (just in time): Since I've already dunked on Avatar, I'll give two...opinions; the rogue AI/VI/SI has been done to death and we should stop calling them AIs, and the Aeon Flux movie is actually one of the best mid-tier sci-fi stories of the 2000s.
