Saddened to hear the passing of JKD's Tim Tackett (Wednesday Night Group). I first met him at the 2008 Bruce Lee Foundation seminar in Seattle. His demo of the diagonal fist and strong, commanding voice made a lasting impression. My condolences. RIP.

I traveled to Oranjehotel National Monument in The Hague was the main WWII German political prison in the Netherlands. Over 25,000 Dutch citizens—men, women, and children—were wrongfully held there.

My school, Fist of Interception Institute, attended the Jeet Kune Do International Three Instructors Seminar hosted by Sifu Richard Torres, Joaquin Marcelo, and Octavio Quintero in Fishkill, NY. We also paid our respects at Sigung Ted Wong's resting place.

Bruce Lee proved that to express a martial art's functional effectiveness, we must reject the confines of its history. Combat preparation should not be restricted by tradition.

Summer ends, but the journey continues. I'm excited to build on what I've accomplished, create more content, finish projects, and celebrate life. Here's a photo from my trip to Acuatico Beach Resort in the Philippines. I recommend this amazing place to anyone!

Took a trip to Philly on the last day of summer and visited the amazing Magic Gardens. Isaiah Zagar's mosaics are incredible—and you can find his unique, vibrant artwork all over the city, not just in the museum.

I saw my friend Jeff Chinn's Bruce Lee memorabilia at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum's Collectors' Corner in May 2016. It was exciting to see his collection on display. The entire Bruce Lee Exhibit is still going strong and is a must-see!
