Bit harsh on AVH that, it's an extremely ambitious piece of work that I think on the whole comes off. Agree about mu-ziq, cracking album.

NP Jeanne D'Arc #TangerineDream, hard to believe this was 20 years old last month. One of their better post millennial releases, even the sax is bearable.

Boycotted them this time for not playing Brum, if they won't play here it's no wonder hardly anyone else does

Eno's production on that album & that track in particular is spectacular

Had this for a little while but with the other half out it seems like the ideal time to give it a spin, especially as it would have been Manuel's 73rd birthday yesterday #NP Klaus Schulze & Manuel Gottsching live at the Audiomax DVD

The problem with this box (apart from the fact that it's not ambient) is that you can never just play one album from it. #NP the wonderful Aqua by Edgar Froese.

Somehow missed the anniversary of this last month, so happy 50th to Timewind, one of the greatest electronic albums ever made, a cornerstone of the Berlin School & one of Klaus Schulze's masterpieces, perfectly complemented by Urs Amann's sublime artwork.

That's not to say they weren't passionate about music, my dad sang in male voice choirs all his life & was & they encouraged all of us to play instruments. I think they wanted us to participate rather than being passive recipients. Typical parental reactions to TOTP though 😂
