Anyway, yeah, I was struggling with another image I'm working on, so I needed to take a break from it and do something silly.
I needed a Brain Reset. The point for me wasn't to make something "good." It was to just make something. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks. I could have spent more time fixing a bunch of Anatomy Issues, but, like I said, the point wasn't to make it "Good." I just needed it to be "Good Enough." 🤣

LOL, yeah. It's using white (or "clear") to make details in an otherwise black silhouette. It's the method I use to Ink things like black hair, or Carver's costume.
The technique probably has a different "official" name, but that's just what I call it. 😅

Meanwhile, I'm struggling to survive through a mental health crisis no one ever bothered asking ME about. They just presumed I was "weird," and not applying myself enough. And would tell that to anyone who would listen.

I was already an anxiety-ridden introvert, but that made me even more reticent.

Nah, you're right. And I probably wasn't as clear as I should have been.
But, yeah, my problem wasn't that people would mention me - that just happens. It was that they were SPECULATING about me without my input.
"I talked to [person], and WE think you need [whatever that week's Instant Fix was]."

It's not just you. I was raised by a family of gossips, and since I was secretly struggling with both my sexuality AND bipolar disorder I just hated how other people would talk about me behind my back. So I swore I'd never do that.

...And now it's very hard to share anything personal with anybody.

And they hold that over your head for WEEKS, even months. "Why are you complaining? You weren't even here when we needed you to [do whatever] six weeks ago."

IF you even get to go.
"Hey, I'm gonna be busy on the Xth." ...And then you wake up that morning and have a message saying "Hey, we need to you to stop in help out with [task], today" is what happens more often.

And it's not even that they asked.
It's that they waited until the last moment, and expect you to jump up and get to work.
If they'd said something when it first started you could have found time to do it DAYS ago, but now you have to drop everything you're doing to accommodate them. Again.

"You make sacrifices for family."

"Yeah, *I* do. But when I say I want something, or time to do something, *you* keep having 'emergencies' so I can't."
And it's incredible how every time I want to make a purchase they need money, and if I want time for something they have projects that need done.

Nice! You made some color choices I didn't even really consider, and I LOVE it. That golden blond contrasting against the nearly black hair on the ogre/troll/monster is great!
...And those white fuzzy boots with the darker straps on him are doing things for me. 😏

I mean, yeah... I have to admit that I've also felt the urge to indulge in some looming over a coupling couple of hot guys from time to time. 🤫
