Outside of some annoying hidden rooms (I cheated on a couple), it was a smooth adventure. Massive props.

Seriously though, I love that there's more talking in the game. Spirits get more personality, and you even get small skits. Really helps you avoid losing track of who's who.
Without getting into spoiler territory, the relationship between the main character and the bosses you encounter are a lot more direct. Whereas Ender Lillies focused on the decaying of the world, Ender Magnolia's major throughline feels very personal, with a focus on loss and relationships.

While Ender Lillies leaned into horror and systemic tragedy, Magnolia focuses primarily on personal tragedies.
Ender Magnolia is fun but man, has it been a roller coaster of "am I actually good at this game?"

there are so many factors outside of your hands. So much success is luck, and failure is not always your fault. cut yourself some slack.
That cool artist you admire is probably struggling real hard right now and trying to make it seem like things aren't as bad as they are. You should give them some love.

Also, 4 lane mode is just beyond me right now, just too insane.

I'm sure there's probably some harder sections but with all love and affection for this game, I'm not sitting through the tutorial two more times to see what's different.

Re:Vision - blame it on having just come off a Round1 Trip + GDC but man, so many Steam rhythm games literally just drop you off at Free Play like a schoolchild and I am not nearly dedicated enough to actually get good at this game. However, Save The Night is a banger.
