Like many others, we have a friend who lost their almost new car & almost lost his life when someone was texting as they drove down Railway Ave, not noticing they were driving through an intersection against the red light, right through traffic. He sustained physical & traumatic brain injuries.

BC has a new plan whereby docs are basically on salary.
Hospitalists are usually on hospital staff so paid a salary. Quite a good one from what I see.
So, not usually fee-for-service so little paperwork around getting paid or billing.
Still the usual medical paperwork. Many are now switching to EMR.

And then, while this was taking place, Trump watched it on T.V. play out for over 3 1/2 hours while doing nothing to stop it.

And you do not need to worry about dealing with insurers or struggle to get your patients' care paid for.
With universal medicare, it's covered.
(But you still have to fork out money for the good coffee.)

When I worked in one of the largest TV newsrooms, we occasionally had people on even our well-known on-air talent were awestruck by.
But, the only time everyone "happened" to be in the newsroom & brought their kids
was when #MichaelJFox was on the Noon News.

It's been legal in Canada for a few years now, since before the pandemic.
It is rare and it is compassionate, with many controls.
There are strong limits.
