RIP Wolfgang Wildgen: cognitive linguist and semiotician, sociolinguist, and theorist of evolutionary linguistics.
His work beinging together Peircean semiotics with Renรฉ Thom's catastrophe theory challenged me to push my learning into fields i never imagined.
