i did that ^ yesterday and then i noticed i didnt put the hands straight at noon when i put it back together - meaning nothing was aligned !! i just got it all straight right now and the project is complete 👍😊

i exchanged the mechanism, i thought i would just put the old hands in it but theyre actually not the same size, so i made new colourful hands! and coloured them in - they used to be just white and the seconds was off-red - and i put some stickers from a cute sheet i bought at comiccon last year 😁😁
