Over the course of over 10 years running both W&W and before this we've lost a grand total of maybe 10? packages? out of thOUSANDS.

ALL of our small books, pins, stickers, patches, tiny items that fit into 'big parcel letter mail' with STAMPS will actually start to cost YOU all sHIPPING. if we're forced to switch away from Canpost.

CUPW deserve the demands theyre putting forward. Canada Post refuses to even try to cooperate. This isn't a for-profit business this is a national right to postal services. the canpost company would prefer to cut most rural postal services than try to negotiate is that really fair? I don't think so.

just getting really fucking discouraged lately. do what you can to support small & local these days we're all really frying out here.

anyway its going to be.... an absolutely fucked up holiday season again for us w/ both tarriffs & duties killing our US sales AND the new sudden Canpost Strike drying up everything else. We might try to pivot to something like chitchats or intelcom but even smaller shipping companies get overwhelmed

it's something we've been thinking about doing for a while but the need started getting more and more urgent as the situation in the USA started really hitting us (i've watched too many small canadian business this year shutter their doors bc of the massive loss in US sales)
