Long way indeed. Still think the DNC needs a structural overhaul before even thinking about candidate selection, but I love Beshearโ€™s track record personally.

Apparently this is something sheโ€™s been planning for over a year. Just not a good look that itโ€™s coming right after one of the biggest polling misses this election cycle.

I agree, unfortunately. Love the work heโ€™s doing in Kentucky and think heโ€™d be great in a general election, but canโ€™t see him winning the primary at the moment.

But who knows what the landscape will look like in 2028.

Iโ€™m fully onboard with this. Beshear is one of those rare politicians that can seamlessly appeal to both sides.

1. Not sure where you pulled โ€œthink like me on youโ€™re a dinosaurโ€ from but that sounds like a projection.

2. This isnโ€™t about โ€œstrategyโ€, itโ€™s literally just breaking down how different age groups swung this election.

But donโ€™t worry. Oklahoma is buying thousands of Bibles for their public schools.

The graphic doesn't mention generation names at all. Just age ranges.

The reference to Gen X was a conclusion drawn from the graphic.

One that is reasonably inferred from what IS there.

Huh, maybe you shouldnโ€™t have nominated three members from congress when you already had a small majority to begin with?

Good point. Still, Gen X has always been more favorable to conservatives compared to other generations.

Elon really is the VP now huh?

This is from the #UFC309 event happening tonight. Trump canโ€™t go one second without Elon attached to his hip.

Their fall out is imminent.

STILL waiting for someone on the right to explain how tariffs and mass deportation will make the economy stronger than what it is today.

Yep, no matter how good the policies are, if they canโ€™t come across in a relatable way, it doesnโ€™t even matter.

Even if the message isnโ€™t true, if it *sounds* good enough, voters will flock to it.

17.11.2024 01:53 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Yeah between his polices on homelessness, high tax rates, and general perception as being a โ€œsuper liberalโ€, heโ€™ll have a high mountain to climb , and thatโ€™s just not what the DNC needs this next go round.

I think Newsom at the top of the ticket is a losing strategy tbh. He doesnโ€™t have a great track record in California and I donโ€™t see how heโ€™ll appeal to swing state voters.

I donโ€™t think AOC is shooting for a VP position this early either. Could see her challenging for governor one day, though.

The โ€œPopular With Friendsโ€ feed is an easy way to keep up with the most liked posts from people you follow.

Doesnโ€™t necessarily replace a โ€œTrendingโ€ feature, but itโ€™s better than nothing.

Way too early 2028 prediction: Georgia and North Carolina both swing back blue. Georgia has been trending left for a while now while the down ballot races in NC heavily favored Dems this cycle. Thoughts?

You would think with the cost of eggs supposedly being so high, grocery stores would be somewhat empty on the weekends.

That hasnโ€™t been my experience at all since the pandemic ended.
