This morning, Deputy SA Brian Marsh provided a cyber safety presentation to 9th graders at Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn.
The presentation included topics like cyberbullying and encouraging students to be mindful of their digital footprint and to think before they post online.

This week, State’s Attorney Anne Colt Leitess and members of our Office attended the Maryland State’s Attorney’s Association Summer Conference in Ocean City, MD.

We are pleased to welcome our newest Assistant State’s Attorney, Courtney Tobias! She was sworn in this morning by Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County Scott Poyer. Courtney will be assigned to our District Court team.

This morning, State's Attorney Anne Colt Leitess joined Anne Arundel County Police Chief Amal Awad for the 5th Annual Fallen Officers Memorial Service. Mrs. Debbie Sorrells, mother of fallen Baltimore County police officer Amy Sorrells Caprio, was the keynote speaker.

During National Police Week, we recognize the courage and commitment of our brave women and men in law enforcement that serve our community. We also remember and honor those officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Thank you to all the members of law enforcement that ensure safety and justice for Anne Arundel County, the State of Maryland, and our Nation.
