After getting my Docs, every time I see someone else wearing a pair, I'm like holding myself back from complimenting them because EVERYONE wears Docs. That's too many people to compliment. (People in Toronto can be weird about being talked to, even for compliments)

Thank you so much. It was so hard not to let it break me but I'm so lucky to have really amazing friends who acted as my support system and pulled me off the cliff. As bad as it feels, I'm glad I didn't react to my feelings of shame the way I wanted to (switching to my substance of choice).

So, I was hanging out with an old, old friend who I lost touch with when I moved back to Toronto. He didn’t really know about my drug use or anything and I guess I wasn’t explicit enough about my sobriety.

He bought me a drink and I didn’t want to make it weird so I drank it.

Woke up and cried about this again. I feel like such a loser.

This coming week*

I have therapy on Tuesday this week instead of Thursday and I think that’s a very good thing.
