Also, another set could have meant more Scarecrow love, which may only be important to a small group, but it's VERY important to us🎃

100% this.
Lorwyn-Shadowmoor is deep, with far more than can be seen in one go. Add to that the firld trip kids and it feels like we got this revisit spread way too thin.

There's weird stuff from Shadowmoor that didn't even get a mention, like the selkies and the demigods and that bums me out

So excited for the #LorwynEclipsed prerelease, I just had to do up a couple more tokens!
I reckon these lil boggarts fall into the @spice8rack.bsky.social 'funny little guy' category even on a bad day😆

This return has felt different, but wonderful and the extra love that Scarecrows got was more than I would have dared to hope.

Overall, this isn't a *powerful* build, but it's thematic in a way that makes me very happy. I love Scarecrows, the original Reaper King was the card that got me into commander 16 years ago and made me fall in love with Lorwyn-Shadowmoor.

Finally, we have some fun synergies:sinister gnarlbark and Wall of Junk makes for a good defense while allowing continuous card draw.
Six stays on spooky theme while providing Yard Advantage so our few delirium cards stay online. He might even fetch us an artifact land to trigger Rendmaw!

The addition of Wickersmith's Tools gives me an avenue of backup post-boardwipe, and is largely the reason I bothered with proliferation at all. We also run a selection of thematic equipment to arm our Patchwork Parade, with a smattering of noncreature-focused removal.

For this build, I wanted to steer away from the heavy control build that [[Reaper, King no More]] is leaning towards. Instead, I'm using the negative counters as ways to keep blockers out if the way while I seing in with Reaper and his Wicker Warparty.

3- a rare reference to Reaper King(not necessarily a creature)

Thanks! I had a limited color selection, so I had to get creative with my choices. It was important to me to keep Lorwyn popping, with a more monochrome tint to Shadowmoor

This is really good to see! I liked *some* of the monster choices, but it felt overall kinda off. VERY excited to see how they rework this( though might still proxy Kalamax as Brachy cuz that seems like a fun direction)

Right?? That bad boy's been sitting in my red rares binder for YEARS! Which is a shame, the card looks like is *could* do so much in the right deci and I really think this is finally it.
