After the Once and Future Court larp playtest, I flew out to Illinois to check out Stronghold Castle (1-2 hrs from Chicago O’Hare airport) as a site for the full game. What a stunning location! Tentatively penciled in for Nov 20-22, 2026. One of only 2 weekends they hadn’t yet filled in 2026.

The Once and Future Court playtest went incredibly well! 24 players and 4 staff testing out a two-day version of the 4-5 hour larp that I’ve run five times at conventions. Lots of crying and laughter. Learned a lot. Especially learned it’s viable for 2+ days of play! #o&fc #oafc #onceandfuturecourt
