More than 20 Metropolitan Police officers broke down the front door of a Quaker meeting house to arrest six women who had met to discuss climate change and Gaza. It is thought to be the first time in the history of the famously pacifist Quakers that police have forced their way into one of their places of worship. The women, aged between 18 and 38, were sitting in a circle eating hummus and bread sticks on Thursday evening as part of a “welcome meeting” for Youth Demand, which calls itself a non-violent protest group.
I know the right wing media finds it all very difficult so, in an attempt to be helpful, this is what an actual interference with free speech looks like.

The ISF destroyed all of the reproductive material that was stored for the future conception of Palestinians. The Commission did not find any evidence that this IVF clinic was a legitimate military target at the time that it was attacked by the ISF. The Commission concludes that the destruction of the Basma IVF clinic was a measure intended to prevent births among Palestinians in Gaza, which is a genocidal act under the Rome Statute and Genocide Convention. The Commission also concludes that this was done with the intent to destroy the Palestinians in Gaza as a group, in whole or in part, and that this is the only inference that could reasonably be drawn from the acts in question. Perhaps the most devastating part of this harrowing UN report is the attack on Gaza's maternity, fertility and reproductive health clinics, attacks which the commission describes as genocidal acts.

SCOOP—Emails obtained by @zeteo.com show Mahmoud Khalil reached out for help from the Columbia administration *one day before* ICE detained him.
He said he couldn't sleep from threats he was receiving.
He even wrote that he feared ICE "might come to my home."
Mahmoud Khalil has filed an emergency petition to return to NY. He is being held in Louisiana.
“It feels like my husband was kidnapped from home, and at a time when we were supposed to be planning to welcome our first child into this world,” said Khalil's wife, who is eight months pregnant.
The text on top says Trump's Attack on Palestinian Activism.. Below that, it says Khalil’s arrest marks an escalation in the Trump administration crackdown on Palestinian rights activism. The day after Mahmoud’s arrest, Secretary of State Marco Rubio linked to an article on the arrest and tweeted, “We will be revoking the visas and/or green cards of Hamas supporters in America so they can be deported.” The screenshot is a tweet from Marco Rubio with the above quote and a link to an article from AP News about Khalil's arrest.
