I’d have thought a compensation order for the cost of cleaning the suit and something to compensate for the indignity, plus a fine, might be thought of as a proportionate approach.

That was what made it even more frustrating. The screen at the bus stop was completely blank. Apparently, Waterloo Station became completely impassable.

I waited 45 minutes at Aldwych for an 87 bus but there was not a single bus to any destination arrived during that time, so I gave up.
