'A Colt Is My Passport': Gareth Evans To Remake Classic '60s Japanese Crime Pic For Amazon MGM's Orion Pictures Gareth Evans' remake will follow a hardboiled hitman caught between two rival gangs. Casting for the action pic is currently underway.

One of my contacts asked last night and amazingly the response wasn't "a mayonnaise commercial". It is a remake of a 1967 Japanese Yakuza film called "A Colt Is My Passport’". The director is Gareth Jones who made "The Raid" films.

Something I have noticed a lot is that when Bristol is standing in for the capital, the production company will utilise a red London bus and/or a black cab to drive through the background of the shot.

Tonight sees the second of three consecutive night shoots on Eugene Street in St. Judes. Although the project is still unconfirmed, it appears that Bristol is standing in for 1970s Michigan. #bristol #filming #crewloc
