It’s just beyond ridiculous that you can’t classify anything correctly. I am getting exhausted. CONSTANT BS run by idiots under 35 with little experience.

I put “I made this material from scratch with hand tools” in the core questions, but when choosing the category of rocks and minerals in the tools and supplies category, it lists it as “handpicked”. Copying over old listings with non specific generic tools and supplies category lists it as “made by”

The core questions on Etsy DO NOT MATTER. You can answer the same core questions and get different results. It’s the category in the listing form (which is totally screwed up!) that determines the new Etsy criteria. Here’s the same listing - one is “handpicked” the other is “made by”.

Lapis Lazuli was just added to the shop!!! This lapis has excellent deep royal blue color and is one step below my premium lapis, consisting of approximately 15-20% calcite. This lapis is more affordable and still has the INTENSE violet-blue color when wet. 💙💜💙

I have been working on bringing different crushed shells to the shop! This material will be great for your beach sand jewelry projects. I just added 1) super flashy silvery-cream abalone and 2) orange and purple Mano de Lion shells. 🐚 🦁 🐾

Does anyone have any book or website recommendations on optimizing your website for google, google shopping, merchant? I need to be proficient in all things google, but not sure where to begin. The internet so inundated with “experts”, I can’t sift through it. 🤓

After a really long social media break, I am back! I had a pretty severe ankle injury early this year (fully dislocated) that kept me down and out. 🥺

I do have some exciting plans for this year that I am excited to share... But first I just wanted to say HI👋. I missed y’all. ❤️

I ddi notice when I went back to my uploaded files that they WERE in fact bigger than 2000 px on the shortest size. However, when I "inspected" them on desktopn broswer, they were much lower.

Oh, when everything tanking at the end of March last year I redid eveything about my listings...tilte, description, updated the pics with better versions... LOL. Well, not sure if it set me back since I was already going down. C'est la vie!

Happy Equinox everyone! Getting excited for planting our heritage orchard soon. We purchased over 15 heritage trees and berries as our Christmas gifts for our off-grid build.

Thanks for the tips! I did take a look at some of my older photos and since they have been edited so many times they aren’t 2000px. I just saw a feature in Lightroom called “Enhance” which will use AI to up the photo quality. Won’t changing all my pics also set me back?

I know, it’s so hard for me too. I have recently gotten better with my photo game and Adobe Lightroom is so helpful with color and lighting ($10/month).

Crushed Blue Chalcedony grade A From Namibia, Coarse Crush, Gravel Size 4mm 2mm for Metaphysical Projects, Resin Art, or Jewelry - Etsy This Craft Supplies & Tools item is sold by MakersMinerals. Ships from Bayfield, CO. Listed on Mar 9, 2024

I put a “slide show” video in for Etsy’s latest requirement. Getting the color just right throughout a real video is too difficult when color REALLY matters to artists. What do you think? What do you do for videos?

The next fancier mineral is a GEMMY idocrase (vesuvianite). This one has great color once sealed and is limited stock. It reminds me of jolly rancher green! 🤤🤤🤤

Your welcome and thanks for following! It looks soooo neat in person. The trick when it comes to woodworking is that you have to choose a soft mineral so that it can be sanded. 🙂
