Following in the footsteps of recent changes to Vogue and NYFW, Hearst (publisher of Harper's Bazaar, Esquire, Town & Country, etc) announced it will cease all promotion of animal fur across its editorial content and advertising. This is a win for wildlife!!

Agreed! NYFW happens twice a year, once in February and once in September...so they likely decided to implement this starting in September to give designers time to rework their collection if necessary. We're excited that it's a step in the right direction though!
