Henry arrives early. One moment, Alex is taking off his cufflinks and deliberating an extra dab of his signature fragrance. The next, Henry’s got him pressed against the hastily locked door, kissing him in a way that suggests he’s thought of literally nothing else for a month. Alex can relate. He lets Henry have at it for a while before he pushes back a little, just enough to move them towards the bed. They don’t actually break the kiss, though. Or at least Henry doesn’t. The way he keeps diving back in even as they stumble across the room is honestly endearing. But Alex has other plans. He didn’t say he was gonna do bad things to Henry for nothing. The above was a snippet from a future chapter of: 'but I can't help how wonderful life is when you're in the world' by everwitch.
