Here's a pen and ink I did of one several months ago =)

that's a dryads saddle =) or hawks wing or Cerioporus squamosus if you're nasty

edible but not amazing. tastes and smells like a watermelon rind. cook first

What I do with them is cook them and then pickle them and toss them in 3 bean salad which is pretty great!

also, my daughter (11) is learning the flute so I showed her a live Jethro Tull performance and her comments were:

"He has crazy eyes .... but I really like how much he's showing off"

Just popping back on bluesky to say that a quick one while he's away -specifically that performance- is easily in my top 5

am I missing something here? not to sound like I'm supporting the inktober guy who sounds scummy as heck, but the inktober website doesn't sound anything like what everyone here is saying. it's an arbitrary set of prompts you can follow or not if you feel like it. that's all I can see =p
