Just done some mathing and I have 80 stitches. Usually have and thought I had 77 stitches - for my medium and 84 for my large. Bow locks! Whose counting? Me! I bloody well am! Arsington!

Did you know there is another loop on a UK DC / US SC? It’s called the third loop, it makes the V shape of a stitch if you look at the back of the stitch and the back loop. You can work into the back loop and the third loop of you want to turn your work to create a bag or basket. #crochet #yarn 🧶

Pelargonium, 75p, with a lovely deep red and pink flower, almost heading to the purple side of life. It was very crispy and I removed what I could but there are still some brown crispy leaves. Another cheeky little saved plant, probably a euonymus but I’m not sure. It’s lime and green leaves.

Vivid orange Marigold, 49p, tray of but only 9 plants survive. 20 cells in the tray originally.

It’s a bit windy but here are my plant rescues. They were struggling in a B&M garden section, due to a lack of water during very hot weather, and were reduced in price. No clue what colours the flowers would be, if they survived, but I could identify the plants.

If I wrote down everything I said that gets ignored and stuck it on one of those walking boards you could wear, to save repeating myself, it would be so large that I’d add walls to make a tent and hide inside.

My outfit today is a black with white spots one-piece strapped top and trouser set… charity find. Probably Shein shite. Thin which is great for the summer warmth although it’s grey, raining and windy today. Storm Floris I believe. I wasn’t going out anyway.

Another scrap project made from the unravelled charity shop blankets. I had to dip into my own yarn collection to finish off the right glove. The original green leans more to the yellow side, as where the closest I had leans to the blue but I’m happy. That’s what scraps are for!
