Mother of Deceased OpenAI Whistleblower Alleges Potential Murder Plot, Calls for FBI Investigation
Corporate whistleblowers can face immense pressure with few protections.
So I somehow missed the news about OpenAI whistleblower Suchir Balaji being found dead, but his mother says there were signs of struggle and wants an independent investigation as to the cause of his death.
I have a strong feeling that this story is going to get really, increasingly, fucking weird.

There will never be any state support (in the Indian context). The Indian language census refuses to recognise linguistic communities below 1000 speakers. With the amount of data the NLP companies are collecting of the bigger languages, I guess the fate of minority languages here are sealed.
