There's been so much publicity about the now-Oscar-winning doc No Other Land being unable to find a U.S. distributor (which is appalling) that some people may not realize it's currently on 100 screens here. In Manhattan you can see it at Film Forum; in Brooklyn it's at Alamo Drafthouse.

So 95% of GOP members are hiding from their constituents. If we're going to pressure them publicly, local groups are going to have to get creative.

To clarify: #1 and #2 are essentially "votes about whether to have a vote" rather than final confirmation. But that doesn't matter: no Dem Senators ought to be voting for anything that helps this Administration while Elon is ransacking the Treasury. Just say no.

The military forced us out of our homes at gunpoint in 1942 because we were considered possibly disloyal Americans. They sent us to internment camps for four years.
History is repeating. Pay attention.
KNOW THIS: Altadena is a predominantly African-American community community where Black families were redlined into. It’s not the Palisades, but losing homes, livelihoods & generational wealth is equally devastating.
Communities targeted by redlining have historic reasons to distrust government.
The GOP is mounting the largest, most brazen post-election disenfranchisement effort since Trump's frivolous litigation in 2020. This time, however, they may get away with it and the legacy media is largely asleep.
