Pointless careerism is something to aspire to?

Most of the people I know that are obsessed with their career are also willing to step on everyone’s neck to get ahead.

I think I’ll pass. The least interesting thing about me is what I do for work.

As an "elder" millennial, absolutely not.

You provide a service, and you're paid for the service. Your life is not your career. I'm not going to be on my deathbed thinking to myself, "Damn, I wish I'd spent more of my life working harder for that company that laid me off after 20 years."

Episode Update!!

After months of writer's block, I made it out.

I've written 23 pages, just under 11,000 words... so far. It's DENSE.

This is my biggest "Memories" episode yet. I hope it'll be a cozy listen for anyone who feels nostalgic about working at or going to gaming stores growing up.
