A lesson all of Europe should have learned in 2014. If we wanted to avoid the refugee crisis, we should have listened to the French and killed Assad. The age in which we passively stand by and watch conflicts happen, must end.

The best way to deal with Trump is with bribes. Putin wont accept this deal but Trump will LOVE it, so Europe is trying to get Trump to give ukraine weapons if he gets more frustrated with Putin.

Just take a moment to appreciate that after weeks of Russian drones violating European airspace, Alcibiades of Budapest just invites the Russians to fly over Europe.

What is being european?

Ukraine's victory will be just like syria's. Swift, sudden and nobody's going to expect it, like a river suddenly flooding.

An observation one barely notices in the Nobel Prizes is that for several years now the European scientists that win them all work in the U.S. That's a problem. We have great public education systems that produce great scientists. But they all leave for better wages at U.S science institutes.

Might sound cynical. But we Europeans should absolutely be opportunistic vultures that circle the U.S and scrape up anything we can from Trump's mistakes. If he alienates Canada and Mexico, it's a perfect starting ground to negotiate trade treaties between them and us.
