Surely, the bold assumption that cometary and zodiacal dust are collisional is trivially invalidated by the existence of, say, the Perseid meteors?
Moreover, if the zodiacal dust were dense enough to interact with the cometary dust, we wouldn't be able to see 3I/ATLAS in the first place...
