I can’t believe they’re helping for these situations. That would be great. Never seen anything like this. It still is the deepest scar I have. Not saying goodbye, seeing you loved one dying in front of your eyes. Feeling alone and helpless. I hope these people ease others’ pain. That’s so difficult.

Illustration of Beowulf titled 'Heorot' by Yoann Lossel. Created using a mixed technique combining graphite, copper leaf, gold leaf, and silver leaf on paper. At the center, Beowulf stands on a rock, illuminated by a golden halo, facing a grand hall (Heorot) perched atop a hill, bathed in golden light that pierces a misty, dark atmosphere. The image is surrounded by intricate ornamentation in Nordic-inspired arabesques: intertwined motifs of dragons, serpents, and mythological figures rendered in copper and gold. In the upper left corner, a sculpted head resembling a Viking helmet or mask adds a narrative element. These details imbue the artwork with an epic and mystical aura.

I created this illustration in 2018 for an illustrated edition of Beowulf. 'Heorot' — graphite, copper leaf, gold leaf, silver leaf, and hydrangea petals on paper.

Not a prey,but maybe you may add some blur images on the bottom surface of the water,just to add some story (I don’t know a city, sunken ship, other dead dragons).Or a tail, just a tail of another creature that it’s fighting?
And I’d make the darkest dark and A few bright highlights. It’s awesome
