I wasn't in the audience so don't have the context - in my experience we forget too easily about the hidden costs of open source. It can quickly end up causing budget and resource grief down the line if we are not ruthless in costing it out properly

I couldn't agree with this more Sarah. We criticise other areas (I'm looking at you IT) for forgetting this but honestly we can be (are?) just as bad!
