I contacted Microsoft Support. They sent me to Xbox Support.

Xbox Support gave me a support number (7087443891) and sent me to Bing Rewards Support to fix my Microsoft Store region which they see as United States on the backend.

My Microsoft account is now Japan. My Xbox is now Japan and I have successfully purchased games on the Xbox Store in Japan in Yen. Xbox GamePass still wants to do USD and tells me that I can't subscribe because my "Store Region" is incorrect

I really wish I could just get someone in @xbox.com to fix my backend region so I can properly re-subscribe to @gamepass.xbox.com in Japan.
