I say this with empathy toward every struggling actor who is just trying to make due:

Providing your voice for A.I. undermines everyone in the industry. It is a net negative, that will only make it harder for you and everyone else down the line.

It. Is. Wrong.

I don’t care about legality and neither do you. You want to play your game and enjoy it guilt free.

I want human beings to be able to work in the industry they trained half their lives for.

It’s a moral issue. It’s a human issue.

Not to get all Sun Tzu on it, but when the enemy is weak and divided amongst itself, you do not relieve the enemy by allowing their partisans into your camp. You drive them closer together, force them into tighter company, and intensify their conflict.

Someone called me a liar for saying I wouldn't buy any new games if every game suddenly had gen AI content in it, as if old games don't exist. These people are Desperate.

I've faced similar claims and it's like bro I am streaming Digimon and going back to shit like Peak and Lethal Company because there are like a billion games. Like a billion.

"But that means I can't play Fortnite or Dead by Daylight or--"

Hush and think.

The money for those franchises being used in those games goes to the creators of those franchises.

In turn, you're paying those creators, who fund the destruction of trans and human rights in general.

Come on.

Get it over with, and let us get the fuck out from under this shadow of impending collapse, I don't want to hear AI integration this, AI driven that, AI generated imagery everywhere. I probably sound like a broken record, but I cannot wait for this AI bubble to burst, I want to see the architects of this tech to be taken for every penny by those whose artwork they stole for training data, and I want those tools to cease function and be confined to the same memory hole as NFTs.

With Transgender Awareness Week and Day of Remembrance coming up, some reminders:

steam is apparently allowing "this game had AI in it that it didn't disclose" as a valid return statement, so if you or anyone you know actually paid $70 for slop, get that money back
