I love having my health insurance tell me my hysto wasn’t medically necessary. The fact that I now do not feel that pain I felt in my abdomen 24/7 tells me otherwise.

In other news, the no pain is amazing. What a life improvement to begin with. Can’t wait to be told top surgery isn’t necessary. 🫶🏻

Dr said I’m healing great after my hysto :) 2 week post op check up complete!

Time to boot the Ute.

Surgery time confirmed. Boot the Ute 9:15am Monday 😅 nervous but excited!! It’s been a roller coaster getting it set up.

April 14th, I boot the ute. Keeping a lone ovary as an inert fail safe should I not have medical control of my body.

Sammy started his inhaler today. He did so good, I’m so proud of him 😭

Men who feel uncomfortable standing in front of me waiting in silence will often and suddenly shout “GO *insert sportsball team name here*!!” And I have to chuckle and say “I don’t watch sports!” Like….is this a normal male behavior? Just clock me as queer and leave me be lol.

All consults happened.
“Yeet the teet” is potentially happening November, not scheduled yet. So “yeet the Ute” will happen first. Pre-op appt 2/25. Yeet date pending.

Big day today. Top surgery consult. Massively anxious.

I’m going to see a personal trainer and return to a gym for the first time since transitioning. Big anxiety. Husband said I’ll love our trainer, though. I also trust the gym, I know they’re safe. It’s just my own stuff making me anxious. I know I’ll be okay.

Hysto consult todayyyy. Equal parts excited and terrified!

Not having a whole ass family living above you when there’s no sound-proofing between floors is life-changing. I’m a whole new person.
