My brother called from detention center at Texas El Paso East Montana at 10:20pm (Wednesday night) and shared that the tent facility Minnesotans are placed in (Building B) has sand blowing everywhere (there are high winds and there is a sandstorm happening). They can't breath and people are coughing sand. Sand also covered their food so it wasn't edible today. ICE is aware of the situation but isn't doing anything about it. I called the El Paso Police Department to report situation, and they passed me to the Sheriff's office to report. The Sheriff's office said that's not something they can do anything about so for me to call to talk to ICE or the US Marshall Services tomorrow. It's so ridiculous, and I am so frustrated! 🤬 How is the federal government going to do anything when they are the ones doing this on purpose?!! Does anyone know who or where this complaint needs to go to?? Who can investigate? Please share 🙏!
